Wednesday Night Classes For Adults

Anatomy of Peace with Pastor Mike What if conflicts at home, conflicts at work, and conflicts in the world stem from the same root cause? What if we systematically misunderstand that cause? And what if, as a result, we systematically perpetuate the very problems we think we are trying to solve? Every day. Through a moving story of parents who are struggling with their own children and with problems that consume their lives, we learn from once-bitter enemies the way to transform personal, professional, and global conflicts, even when war is upon us. Four-Week Study starting September 12/13 Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00pm or Thursdays, 10:00-11:00am Book: $10

Living Faithfully This study will help you understand and grapple with various views about the ministry and teaching of The United Methodist Church around human sexuality. In 2019, a special session of General Conference will be held to consider issues around homosexuality, same-gender marriage, and the ordination of LGBTQ persons. Living Faithfully is designed to help you understand the shape of this debate and what it means for the present and the future. Four-Week Study, starting October 10/11 Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00pm or Thursdays, 10:00-11:00am Book: $11

Opening Ourselves to Grace Opening Ourselves to Grace explores basic practices of the Christian faith and life from a Wesleyan perspective, and the transforming power of God’s grace. This study is also a good introduction for those who are interested in forming or being part of a covenant group. Three-Week Study, starting November 14/15 Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00pm or Thursdays, 10:00-11:00am
