Sign Up is open for Six Awesome Wednesdays: Dinner, Small Groups, and Choirs!

Stop by the tables in the narthex to learn about and sign up for all the awesome activities!

Midweek gathering is so essential to our faith life as a congregation and we want to make sure as many people as possible can make their schedule work to share in a meal, attend a small group for faith formation, and enjoy time together as we encourage one another in the faith!

Soup and Scripture! Dinners are coming back for 6 Awesome Wednesdays! Starting at 5:30pm, you can share in a come and go meal with your church family! This semester, we will be having soup, bread and desserts! $8 per person with a cap of $24 per family! RSVPs are needed to make sure we have enough food—sign up today in the narthex!

Here’s what we will be learning this fall:

Our Little Ones will explore our children’s library with fabulous story time, music making, time to play, create, and snack with our amazing nursery staff from 6-8pm! All of our lessons this year are centered on children’s books about emotions and kindness! Jump in for the joy of early childhood on Wednesdays!

Our Grade Schoolers will have free play in the gym and kids choir for their first hour. From 7-8pm, Compassion Camp will be 6 Weeks of Cooking Club! Come each week to learn about the Lord’s Prayer and spend the last part of the evening cooking and creating delicious treats together!

Our youth will gather for choir, dinner, a devotion and silly games that will end in great prizes on the last week of 6 awesome Wednesdays!

Adults have three options for small group offerings before choir and band rehearsals start at 7pm!

  • Our parents’ group will meet to support each other, learn from a study focused on “Parenting with Faith” and pray together. Join Ashley PBT and our parents group if you have kids still at home!
  • Pastor Taud will lead a book study based on “Five Marks of a Methodist” by Steve Harper. We have books available for purchase with this study. $9/book
  • Calvary’s Racial Justice Team and Reconciling Team will lead a small group focused on two important aspects of social justice. What Would Jesus Do? will cover three weeks on Transgender inclusion followed by three weeks on the reality of Immigration in Central America. Join us to learn and be inspired to do justice like Jesus!

As you can see, we have an incredible line up for learning, food, and time together as a whole church family this Lent at 6 AWESOME WEDNESDAYS!

So, RSVP at the tables in the narthex or call the church office and jump into the fun of a full building full of faith formation and fellowship starting February 25th!
