Justice Together Listening Sessions
September 7 - October 12 | Calvary UMC
Gather for a New Year of Interfaith Action and Justice in Sedgwick County!
This September kicks off a new cycle of community action with Justice Together! If you are interested learning more about the Interfaith work that Calvary does to create sustainable and systemic change in our community, sign up for a Listening Session!
At Listening Sessions, participants are:
- invited to share their heart and story about what compels them to care about real change in our community,
- learn about the work that Justice Together does in Sedgwick County and hear about what happens between now and May, and
- asked to join in this good work as a Network Member who will attending 4 meetings a year, invite friends to attend with you, and consider a financial gift to this community work
Justice Together began 3 years ago and Calvary UMC was one of the founding congregations to take up the work of community organizing around the belief that our community should meet the needs of the poor and marginalized in systemic ways.
Sign up for a Listening session today to use your voice, attend community events that hold governmental leaders accountable, and invite the people you love to join you in doing justice… together!
Clipboards will be available starting Sunday, September 7th, to sign up to attend a listening session! Contact Rev. Ashley PBT for details!
